Gizem Eksen

Gizem graduated from TOBB University Faculty of Law with a certificate in International Law besides her degree in 2016. She had compulsory internships at both government institution and private sector during her faculty years as the University requires to enrich her experience of law practice. She worked in a large international company as a trainee lawyer, under the supervision of an in-house legal team. After the registration to the Ankara Bar Association, she enrolled to her postgraduate education in the UK. As to build a broader perspective in international trade and transportation law, she completed her LL.M degree in International Commercial & Maritime Law, at Swansea University, in Wales. Her main focus is international trade via international transportation by sea, land and air, charter -parties, and marine insurance. As a part of our team, Gizem mostly works on energy law, specifically on legal matters on FSRU vessels and LNG supply as our firm has been consulting clients on such contracts related to energy business. Furthermore, she also works on corporate and commercial law, competition law and international transportation. She is a native- level Turkish speaker and also has full professional proficiency in English.
